Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 July 2026

Kirock (the “App”) handles your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. By using the App, you are deemed to have accepted this Policy.

1. Information we collect

2. How we use information

3. Sharing with third parties

The App uses Google's Firebase (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Firebase Storage) for storage and authentication. It also uses Firebase Crashlytics to investigate and fix problems, collecting diagnostic information when the App terminates unexpectedly. Information collected is held on those services and handled under Google's privacy policy. The App does not track you for advertising purposes and does not sell the information it collects to third parties.

4. Visibility

You can set a climbing record to public or private when you end a session, or later from the Logbook or Profile screens. Records set to public appear in the feeds of climbers who follow you. If you set your account to private, new followers require your approval.

5. Retention and deletion

Information is retained for as long as your account exists. “Delete account” in Settings permanently removes all of your data, including climbing records, photos and follow relationships. This cannot be undone.

6. Children's privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13.

7. Changes to this Policy

This Policy may be revised without prior notice to reflect changes in the law or in the service. We will notify you in the App if a significant change is made.

8. Language

The Japanese text is the authoritative version of this Policy. Translations into English or any other language are provided for reference only; where they differ, the Japanese version prevails.
